Trini Mendenhall Sosa
Mrs. Trinidad Mendenhall Sosa, often known as “Trini,” is grateful for the many gifts God has given her. As a long-time resident of Houston, she has made it her life’s work to share those gifts with her community.
Currently, Trini is the President of Fulton Shopping Center, and is actively involved with her private business investments. Trini is a former Principal and Vice-Chair of Fiesta Mart, Inc., which was founded by her late husband, Mr. O.C. Mendenhall, and Mr. Donald Bonham in 1972. Trini was proud to continue their legacy at Fiesta after both had passed away. Her success in business afforded her the opportunity to launch the Trini & O.C. Mendenhall Foundation where she serves as Founder and Chairperson. Through this Foundation, Trini is able to fulfill her dreams of giving back to the community she loves by enhancing the lives of Houston’s underserved women, children and minorities. Read more...

Now in its 17th year, the Gala is the primary source of revenue for the St. Pius X High School Foundation. The Foundation was established in 1992 to manage the endowment of the School, which has grown to $2.5 million over the last 16 years. During that time, the Foundation has made annual gifts to the School in support of the operating budget, the Athletic Complex renovation and the Jubilee Campaign.
"In describing the work of the St. Pius X Foundation, Edgar Hancock ’62 notes, “St. Pius X is an educational treasure to the Catholic Church and the Greater Houston community. In order to preserve this wonderful school, the St. Pius X High School Foundation has as its mission to provide ongoing financial support to the school. Additionally, the Foundation’s mission is to build, manage and enhance an endowment to assure that St. Pius X High School will provide high quality Catholic education for another fifty years and beyond."
